The Little Swing Band

The Little Swing Band plays just what the name says. Swing tunes such as The Lady is a Tramp, Pennsylvania 6-5000, Chattanooga Choo Choo, and In The Mood originally performed by the likes of Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, and Glenn Miller.

I'm not sure that the word "Little" applies though. At 14 members this is the largest band I've seen at the concert series. The brass section with 5 saxophones, 3 trombones and 3 trumpets provides the soul of the music.

Swing Band

With songs like In The Mood playing even mother nature sometimes shows her frisky side with a romantic light show. No better time and place to enjoy a sunset like this than listening to that mellow swing music.
